Introduction
This article describes how to handle an issue when a user with admin rights is not identified on the User Self-Service Management Portal.
Cause of this issue
Some users might experience an issue with domain restrictions when trying to sign in to the User Self-Service Management Portal.
This is caused by a glitch of the login token of our authentication and authorization system, which is stored as a cookie. The browser no longer recognizes the correct token and cannot assign the correct customer instance to the user.
Step-by-step guide
To resolve this issue, do the following:
1 Go to the Identity and Access management Portal directly at this link: https://portal.ciam.munichre.com.
2 In the upper-right corner of the page, click your account (a circle with your initials next to the Notifications button), and then click Logout to sign out from the portal.
3 Sign in to the portal again. Then select your organization and application and click Confirm.
Note: In most cases, these steps solve the issue. If you still experience domain restrictions, contact our Support: Support | Risk Management Partners.
To avoid such functionality issues in the future, access the User Self-Service Management Portal from the LRI home page.
To access the User Management Portal, follow these steps:
1 Sign in to the Location Risk Intelligence platform.
2 In the User Administration section, click Open Admin Client.
Note: The User Administration section is available only for tenant admin roles assigned in CIAM.
Note: If you don't see the User Administration section on the page, clear your cache, sign out of the platform, and sign back in. If the section is still unavailable, contact Munich Re Support.
3 Log in to the User Self-Service Management Portal.
