How to export users consumption data

Introduction

This article describes how you can export users consumption data from the LRI Analytics Dashboard in three formats:

  • Data with current layout: Export raw data in the same layout as you see it in the Dashboard, but without icons, colors, and other formatting.

Note: This format is available only for table and matrix visuals.

  • Summarized data: Export the summarized raw data used to create your visual (sums, averages, or medians).
  • Data from selected items: Copy data from single selections and paste it into a Word document or Excel spreadsheet.

Note: Access to sensitive consumption data is restricted. Only users with special permissions can view and export it.

Step-by-step guides

Export data with current layout or summarized data 

To export consumption data, do the following: 

1 On the Location Risk Intelligence portal page, in the Analytics Dashboard section, click Open Dashboard.

2 Select the Users Dashboard button.

Info: Users Dashboard has three sections:

  • A table with summary of data consumption for Single Locations and Areas & Lines.

  • A graph of requested Single Locations by the user.

3 In the section which data you want to export, move the mouse pointer to the upper-right corner of the section and click three dots (...) for More options, and then select Export data.

4 Choose the data format and click the Export button.

Note: The Underlying data format is inactive due to default settings.

5 Now, your report is downloaded.

Export data from the selected items

To export data from the selected items, do the following:

1 On the Location Risk Intelligence portal page, in the Analytics Dashboard section, click Open Dashboard.

2 Select the Users Dashboard button.

3 In the table with consumption data, select the items that you want to export, right-click the selection, and then select Copy > Copy selection.

Tip: To select multiple items from the list, press the Ctrl key and click as many items as you want.

4 Paste the copied data to a Word document or Excel spreadsheet.
